DESCRIPTION:Join Portland Friends of  the Dhamma in welcoming Ajahn Nyaniko, abbot of Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery ( http://abhayagiri.org ), on Sunday, May 5. The day will run in person and online from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a meal offering at 11:30 a.m. \nSchedule\nAjahn will lead us in precepts, meditation, and Dhamma reflections.\n10 a.m. Request the 3 refuges and 5 precepts, followed by meditation.\n11:30 a.m. Potluck meal offering\n12:30 p.m. Dhamma reflections, Q & A , meditation (break as needed)\n4 p.m. Closing chant, then move to garden level for tea and conversation, if offered by Ajahn\nThe event will be hybrid, available to both onsite guests at the Portland Dhamma Center and online.
