DESCRIPTION:Mettā Convention is a week-long transformative week of meditation, teachings, discussions, community dinner, and activities with renowned Buddhist teachers from around the world! The Mettā Convention brings together leading Buddhist teachers from different traditions who will explore topics relevant to modern living and deepening our spiritual practice. Featured presenters include Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, Ven Thubten Chodron, Ven Karma Lekshe Tsomo, and Ajahn Sona.\nThis free event will be held at the Western Sydney University, Bankstown City Campus. It is open to the general public, Buddhist and meditation practitioners of all levels who are seeking to enrich their practice and engage with like-minded individuals in a supportive and inspiring environment. This is a unique opportunity to connect with teachers from around the world and deepen your spiritual practice.\nPlease note: all dates and times below and on the Mettā Convention website are in Australia Eastern Time (currently AEST); daylight savings time will begin in Sydney, Australia on October 1 (AEDT).
