SUMMARY:Ayya Santacitta & Ayya Santussika | Online Retreat – Skillful Living in a World on Fire: Grounded in the Noble Eightfold Path (9:00 am – 5:00 pm, PT, USA)
DESCRIPTION:Grounded in the teachings of Early Buddhism, we find the wisdom and strength to face that which is difficult to see and accept. Some of the challenges in life are of our own making, while others arise through forces far beyond our influence. Deepening our skill in applying the Noble Eightfold Path dramatically reduces the harm we inflict on ourselves, others, and the world around us. At the same time, this Path enables us to develop the mental balance and resilience to respond compassionately and effectively to the many dramatic changes in our world today.\nIn this freely-offered, dana-based retreat, we will frame our days with traditional chanting and meditation. Sessions throughout the day will include investigation of suttas from the Pali Canon, guided meditations, Q&A, small group discussions and reflections offered by the Ayyas.
